ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING -  is one of United Methodism’s six church wide Special Sundays with offerings.  You can be a beacon of hope in the world through your offerings to One Great Hour of Sharing. Being a beacon of hope can include supplying food to famine-stricken people, providing medicine to an AIDS clinic in Africa and furnishing lumber in hurricane-devastated areas.  Together we can make a difference through the One Great Hour of Sharing offering.  "The One Great Hour of Sharing offering , provides for those basic needs that make the rest of UMCOR's work possible." "Without this offering so much of what UMCOR does to bring hope and healing to the world could not happen.”  By celebrating One Great Hour of Sharing, you help underwrite UMCOR’s “cost of doing business” so they can keep their promise that 100% of designated gifts go to specific causes. If you would like to make a donation you can make a check out to DUMC and memo it One Great Hour of Sharing, or go online and make a donation at umcor@gbgm-umc.org
