PRAYER GROUP - Have a prayer

prayer group is to lift anyone's needs to the Lord. As a
prayer chain member, we are committed to praying to the Lord for
others needs, as they are presented. It is our purpose to
provide prayerful support to our church family, friends and the
community. "Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds
of prayers and requests." Ephesians 6:18
8:30AM
CONTEMPORARY (BLENDED) SERVICE
- This service is designed for those who prefer contemporary praise
music, guitars, electric keyboards, casual attire and informality.
From mid-May through September, these services are conducted in the
beauty and serenity of our outdoor Green Cathedral, weather
permitting.
11:00AM TRADITIONAL SERVICE
- This service is designed for those who prefer the tradition of classic
hymns, ritual, and a higher level of formality.
HOLIDAY
- DUMC offers a number of different holiday
programs with emphasis on Easter and Christmas. The Worship
Committee meets prior to these events and in an effort to continue
to find services that will meet the needs of the church and
community.
Lenten Supper & Program
Wednesdays, March 4, 11, 18, 25 @ 6:30p.m. with program following
around 7:15p.m.
Christian Seder & Communion Service (April 9, 2009)
Thursday, April 9, 6:30 p.m.
Easter Services (April 12, 2009)
6:15 a.m. Sunrise Service in the Green Cathedral (time subject
to change). Coffee & Fellowship following service
8:30 a.m. Blended Worship Service in Hall. Coffee &
Fellowship following service.
11:00 a.m. Traditional Service in Sanctuary. No Coffee
Hour following service.
SPECIAL SERVICES
- Throughout the year DUMC may
have special services including Youth, New Member Dedication, and other
services honoring a milestone in the church or its membership as well as
a variety of other types of services. Please check the
calendar for exact schedules as service locations, times, and
themes change throughout the year.
New Membership Confirmation
New members will be welcomed into the church on March 15, 2009.
ATTENDANCE
- Attendance at DUMC averages around 100-150 for
the early service and around 50-60 for the later service.
