Davidsonville UMC is seeking a Church Administrator who is personable, positive, service oriented, and professional in demeanor and practice. This position is a part – time position (25 hours/week) with some benefits. Salary is negotiable based on experience and skills. You must have attained the age of 21 to apply.
Duties (including, but not limited to):
- Administrative/Front Office – bulletins and inserts; weekly emails; church committees support; church calendar; greeting visitors and answering main phone line; producing and managing documents related to the Baltimore -Washington UMC Conference;
- Office Management – event scheduling; building scheduling; office supplies; worship flowers; routine banking and postal functions; support for the Treasurer and Bookkeeper; coordinate maintenance services; support wedding, funeral events and cemetery maintenance; assist with walk-ins or callers in need through Social Needs Committee
- Records – maintain church membership/financial database (Servant Keeper); office equipment maintenance; mailing list;
- Communications and Information – assist editor of the quarterly church newsletter (Lamplighter); assist/coordinate on media publication of church events; update outside church sign
