UMW Speaker Series

The United Methodist Women will kick off their winter lecture series on Sunday, Feb. 17 with  Professor Ann Simmons.  Professor Simmons has 29 years of concentrated studies and work in the geographical region of the Middle East and is known worldwide for her expertise.  She has designed educational training programs for the academic, government, intelligence and business sectors in the United States and abroad.  This has given her much insight regarding this part of the world.  Her topic will be “How World War I Influenced Today's Terrorism in the Middle East”. 

 

The lecture is at 1 PM in the Fellowship Hall on Sun. Feb. 17.  Finger foods will be provided.
