Candles for the Traditional Service
This year has been… well, different. And to follow along with that same line, Christmas at Davidsonville UMC is going to be a bit different too! As we are bound by COVID restrictions and our deep desire to keep all who gather at DUMC safe, we have come up with new innovative ways to celebrate Christmas!
You are invited to join us for two different Christmas Eve experiences online. An interactive Family Christmas Eve Service geared towards the young and young at heart. Families can sign up for a FREE Christmas Eve box. The boxes can be picked up at the church office or delivered to you, and will be filled with all of the things your family will need to follow along with the online Christmas Eve experience. Some of the items will be a storybook to share the scripture and candles (or glow sticks for our younger ones) to light and sing silent night with!
The second online Christmas Eve experience will be a traditional candlelight Christmas Eve service. Filled with the scripture, carols, and lighting of the candles as we sing silent night. You are invited to sign up for FREE candles to pick up from the church office or have candles delivered to you.
