DUMC Food Pantry

Our Social Needs & Outreach (SNO) Committee works hard to keep our little food pantry in the corner of our lot stocked and clean!

Those wishing to contribute — we welcome donations; feel free to drop them at the office during office hours, at worship on Sunday mornings, or you may place them directly inside the food pantry!
We do request nonperishables, and items that will not melt in these hot months; toiletries are welcome as well!
We thank you for your generosity in helping your neighbors in need.

Those wishing to partake from our little pantry — stop by anytime; the pantry is open. Please take what you need. It is there to support you and your family and we pray it can be of use to you.

Worship videos will go live on Facebook at the early service on Sunday mornings, and be posted to YouTube for later viewing!

Plus, a benefit of Online Worship, is that you can watch the videos again anytime after Sunday.

Have a prayer request or a joy you’d like to share with us? At the top of the page, click “Get Connected” and select “Prayer”. CrossRoads Child Development Center (CCDC) is a leading developmental child care program based in Davidsonville, MD, at the "crossroads" of Davidsonville Rd. and Central Ave. They are a faith-based center in the community where all are welcome. Since 2007, they have been offering exciting and engaging hands on learning experiences for preschool and school-aged children. They believe each child is a person of value who should have every opportunity to develop physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually in a safe and loving environment. The teachers work with each child at their own level; to encourage a healthy appreciation of self, and guide development of group socialization skills. Learning is accomplished through a combination of teacher-directed and child-initiated activities. The whole child is nurtured through the use of individually-appropriate activities, materials, and equipment. The teachers place special emphasis on getting to know each child in order to best respond to individual needs. The enrolled children thrive through engagement in appropriately challenging activities that allow them to build positive self-worth and practice kindness toward others. CCDC prides themselves on maintaining a highly supportive and positive environment not only for the center’s children, but also among their fantastic team of teachers and staff. Contact them to see what they are all about!
